Michael Rutzen, "Sharkman"

Many of us do contend with psychological hurdles that essentially prevent us from experiencing some of life’s greatest thrills. A key objective for, is to dispel the many myths associated with adventure Activity. In most cases, what we do is totally and utterly safe; it’s simply a case of overcoming a mindset.

Bungi Jumping is a great example of this. The breaking strength of a Bungi cord way exceeds the body mass of any individual roaming the planet, the only plausible way in which something can go wrong, is through negligence. When one considers their 100% safety record, after 15 plus years in the business; SA’s “Face Adrenalin” operators are truly a professional outfit. The chances of a harmful incident occurring, is totaly off the charts, you are more likely to win the lotto.

Today’s featured activity however, is a mammoth exception, we don’t encourage it all. In fact, unless your name is Michael Rutzen, aka Sharkman, DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING IT.

South African born Michael Rutzen, has got to be one of kind. One can’t help wonder if the late great Steve Irwin would have loved this little beauty. While accepting the conservationist view that in order to handle any dangerous specie, one begins by gaining a thorough understanding of its behavioral patterns, we happily leave Mr. Rutzen to it. ……… You go first Mike.
