Adventure Enthusiast Seeks Work, KZN

We do receive a substantial amount of e-mail through our website, of which a fair quantity can best be described as weird and wacky, as they say in the classics, there’s a lot of weirdo’s out there! That aside we do also regularly get adventure enthusiasts contacting us, in which case we will always do our best to respond accordingly.

The following is a mail that came through in the week and my reason for sharing it with you is, perhaps there is somebody out there in the Adventure Industry who is in need of staff, possibly even a business partner, and the person who wrote in may just be what you're looking for.

It’s addressed to my partner Dianne and in his opening line; he makes reference to a photo of her he found on our site wearing skydiving kit. The photo was taken just after landing, upon completion of a tandem skydive she did sometime ago.

“Hello Dianne I hope that you are a paraglider pilot, or is that a skydiving kit? I am looking for work. My sports are paragliding, white water kayaking & Canoeing, Flyfishing and Snow Skiing. Next January I will be unemployed for the 1st time in 25 years and then I plan to have some fun and make some tom at the same time.”

He’s name is Andrew and is based in Pietermaritzburg, I’m sure he wont have a problem traveling down the N3 towards Durban, if need be. He further says “I am looking for outdoor employment. Much appreciate it, if you hear of anything, please give me a shout.”

I do have all his contact information so if you can help out, or know of anyone who can, please contact us and I will forward his details onto you. A long shot I know, nonetheless, it’s amazing how often it’s the long shots that pay off. :)
