Kite Surfing What its all about!!!

So if you read my blog about Kite surfing earlier in the week, and are not really sure what exactly Kite Surfing is, well here goes I am going to try and do my best to explain what it is…..

Kite surfing or Kite boarding is a surface water sport that uses wind power to pull a rider through the water on a small surfboard or a Kite board (similar to a wakeboard). Generally Kite boarding refers to a style of riding known as freestyle or wake-style, whereas Kite surfing is more "wave-riding" oriented. These two styles usually require different boards and specific performance kites.

A Kite surfer or Kite boarder uses a board with or without foot-straps or bindings, combined with the power of a large controllable kite to propel himself and the board across the water. Kite Surfing is a sport that can be quite hazarders, so therefore it is strongly advised that you seek professional training before attempting to Kite Surf. This does not mean that the ordinary person cannot participate; they just need to get equipped first. There are many Kite Surfing schools around that will train and equip you in the wonderful and very exciting sport of Kite Surfing.

If you are still curious and need more information go check out our web site Adventure Escapades. Hopefully the piece on Kite Surfing there will answer any questions you may have. Also you will find places to learn how to Kite Surf. So if any of you are brave enough and give Kite Surfing a try, why not let us know how it goes.
