Summer Adventures in Cape Town

South Africans are enjoying Summer Adventures all around the country and since the sun in Cape Town is hanging about in the sky until as late as 19h30 being back at work is not too bad. There are still some useful hours to cram in healthy action after work. Head for the beaches or V&A Waterfront and grab some fun times.

On a serious note, this month The City of Cape Town issued a shark warning for some beaches on the False Bay coast. There had been a lot of shark activity especially near Fish Hoek, St James and Muizenberg beaches. The shark community may have been enticed here by the numerous schools of yellowtail as well as seals in the area. Life-guards will warn bathers if sharks are spotted so always be aware and do leave the water until you are advised it is safe to return. Beach visits are best in groups especially when it is a busy season. If you have a buddy nearby to alert guards if you are in trouble, we could see a drop in tragic misfortunes. It is more fun surfing or swimming with a friend and safer too.

Whether you want to go shark cage diving or view the sea life at an aquarium, speed across the heavens in a fighter plane or be as free as a bird in a hang-glider, enjoy a city and township tour with a difference or just revel in nature with the penguins at Boulder Bay, you will find a treat that suits you. Free the adventurer within, make a booking today for your Summer Adventures in Cape Town.
