Dusi Canoeing Adventure 2011



Today the 17th February 2011 saw the 60th Dusi canoeing adventure burst forth in Pietermaritzburg. The race is known this year as The Unlimited Dusi 2011 and the results for Day 1 are in!

The memory of KZN’s Dusi King Graeme Pope-Ellis who passed on last year will be on many minds today. In celebration of Graeme’s contribution to canoeing, each paddler who crosses the finish line this year will receive a specially designed Pope-Ellis medal. The Dusi King won this race fifteen times and will always remain a legend.
